Holter Monitors (11 suppliers)
A Holter Monitor is a battery-operated, portable device that measures and tape-records heart's electrical activity (ECG) continuously for 24 to 48 hours or longer depending on the monitor used. Electrodes (small conducting patches) are placed on chest and attached to a small recording monitor that can be carried in a pocket or in a small pouch worn around neck. The recording is then analyzed, a report of the heart's activity is tabulated and irregular heart activity is correlated with a diary that keeps the patient's activity at the time. Hair Removal Device (40 suppliers)
Hair Removal Device is widely used to remove the unwanted hair from the skin. It is classified into two types namely laser hair remover and non laser hair remover depending on the designing technique. In laser hair removal device the laser emits an invisible light which penetrates the skin without damaging it and is absorbed by the pigments of the pilous follicle. The laser light selectively absorbed by the follicle damages its functions and impairs its ability to fabricate hair. At the level of the pilous follicle, the laser light absorbed by the pigments is then transformed into heat which damages the hair but not the surrounding skin. The non laser hair removal is another method in which the hairs are removed without laser beam. It is painful and sometimes it may damage the skin. Such a device can be used only after the proper prescription of a dermatologist. So use of laser light always dominates in this device.

Herbs (25 suppliers)
A Herb is a plant that is valued for qualities such as medicinal properties, flavor and scent. Herbs have a variety of uses including culinary, medicinal. The green, leafy part of the plant is often used, but herbal medicine makes use of the roots, flowers, seeds, root bark, inner bark (cambium), berries and sometimes the pericarp or other portions. General usage differs between culinary herbs and medicinal herbs. A medicinal herb may be a shrub or other woody plant, whereas a culinary herb is a non-woody plant, typically using the leaves. Any of the parts of the plant, as well as any edible fruits or vegetables, might be considered 'herbs' in medicinal or spiritual use. Culinary use of the term 'herb' is much more specific and narrow. Culinary use typically distinguishes between herbs, the leafy green parts of the plant, and spices, all the other parts of the plant, including seeds, berries, bark, root, fruit, and even occasionally leaves. Culinary herbs are distinguished from vegetables in that they are used in small amounts and provide flavor (similar to spices) rather than substance to food. Any plant contains numerous phytochemicals that have varying effects on the body. Even when consumed in the small levels that typify culinary 'spicing', there may be some effects, and some herbs are toxic in larger quantities. Some types of herbal extract, such as the extract of Hypericum perforatum or the Piper methysticum (kava plant) can be used for medical purposes to relieve depression and stress. But high amounts of these herbs may lead to poisoning, and should be used with caution.

Heel Lifts (23 suppliers)
Heel lifts or height insoles are a wedge-shaped shoe insert which fits in the heel portion of a shoe, with the purpose of adding elevation under one or both feet for therapeutic purposes. Heel lifts are commonly used as therapy for leg-length differences leading to knee, hip and back pain, to reduce stress on the Achilles' tendon during healing, and for various rehab uses. Heel lifts are distinct from heel pads. The intent of a heel lift is not to absorb shock or spread pressure on the heel, but to raise one foot in order to shift balance and gait. As such, heel lifts should be firm and not compressible, in order to add a constant amount of height without causing the heel to rub vertically in the shoe. Heel lifts can cause various side effects similar to wearing high-heeled shoes, and their use should be prescribed by health care professionals.

Humidifiers (52 suppliers)
A Humidifier is a household appliance that increases humidity in a single room or in the entire home. There are point-of-use humidifiers, which are commonly used to humidify a single room, and whole-house or furnace humidifiers, which connect to a home's HVAC system to provide humidity to the entire house. The most common humidifier, consists of just a few basic parts: a reservoir, wick and fan. Other types of humidifiers include vaporizer, that boils water, releasing steam and moisture into the air. A medicated inhalant can also be added to the steam vapor to help reduce coughs. Vaporizers are more healthful than cool mist types of humidifiers because steam is sterile and free from minerals. Vaporizers use more electricity to boil the water. Ultrasonic Humidifier has a metal diaphragm vibrating at an ultrasonic frequency and creates water droplets that exit the humidifier in the form of a cool fog silently. Ultrasonic Humidifiers should be cleaned regularly to avoid bacterial contamination, which may be projected into the air.
