Stereomicroscopes use external lighting and are effective in the range of 6 x to 150 x magnification. Stereomicroscopes are used to scan large carriers of trace evidence such as clothing, for fibers, gunpowder particles and specks of blood.
Stereoscopic vision and depth perception testing is performed to diagnose stereo and binocular vision in children and adults. The test can be used for testing and training of binocularity, stereopsis, visual attention, and depth perception.
Stereotactic frame operates on a principle of fixed and moveable fiducial markers around the frame be it cylindrical or cuboid. It has a ring, which is used for a radiological treatment in the head area. It can be supported under pressure on a patient's skill bone by several posts fastened on the ring. A measuring device is provided on at least one post to measure the material deformation on the post resulting from the pressure.
Stereotactic frame/planning system consists of a rigid head-mounted frame, whose purpose is to provide a rigid fiducial marker system during imaging, as well as a rigid platform for mounting instruments during surgery. The set of fiducial markers is visualized with the respective imaging modalities and provides a coordinate system within which targets appearing in the images may be localized. The frame also provides the means for determining coordinate trasformations between frame-space and image-space as described below.
Stereotactic relocatable frame is designed specifically for fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy treatments. It provides a fast, non-invasive and reproducible fixation of the patient. This frame is completely compatible with our head ring holder and multimodality localizer that can be shared between the single-dose and non-invasive frames.
