Argon Laser Trabeculoplasty is a procedure, which is proven to be efficacious for different types of glaucoma. Argon laser trabeculoplasty is recommended when medical therapy alone is insufficient in controlling pressure and the progression of glaucoma. It is offered as a treatment option for achieving IOP control in open-angle glaucomas, which include primary open-angle glaucoma, pseudoexfoliation glaucoma and pigmentary glaucoma.
