| Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanners (49 suppliers)
Diagnostic ultrasound scanners provide ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography. It involves exposing part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Ultrasound images are captured in real-time; they can show the structure and movement of the body's internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels. It is usually a painless medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.

A dialysis catheter is a specialized type of central venous catheter used for dialysis. The dialysis catheter is placed into the patient's shoulder and neck, or groin vein. When the patient needs dialysis, the catheter is attached to the dialysis machine by dialysis tubing. The patient's blood flows into the dialysis machine and is filtered to remove fluids and/or toxins, and then returned back to the patient. The dialysis catheter is usually used for dialysis only.

| Dialysis Solution (6 suppliers)
Dialysis is the process of cleaning wastes from the blood artificially. Dialysis solution is a cleansing liquid used in the two major forms of dialysis such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
| |
| Dialysis Solution With Dextrose (5 suppliers)
Dialysis solution is a cleansing liquid used in the two major forms of dialysis such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Dialysis solution contains dextrose (a sugar) and other chemicals similar to those in the body. Dextrose draws wastes and extra fluid from the body into the dialysis solution.

The Dialyzer or dialysis unit is the piece of equipment that actually filters the blood. Almost all dialyzers in use today are of the hollow-fiber variety. A cylindrical bundle of hollow fibers, whose walls are composed of semi-permeable membrane, is anchored at each end into potting compound (a sort of glue). This assembly is then put into a clear plastic cylindrical shell with four openings. One opening or blood port at each end of the cylinder communicates with each end of the bundle of hollow fibers. This forms the 'blood compartment' of the dialyzer. Two other ports are cut into the side of the cylinder. These communicate with the space around the hollow fibers, the 'dialysate compartment.' Blood is pumped via the blood ports through this bundle of very thin capillary-like tubes, and the dialysate is pumped through the space surrounding the fibers. Pressure gradients are applied when necessary to move fluid from the blood to the dialysate compartment.

| Dialyzer Cleaning System (1 supplier)
Dialyzer cleaning system removes blood and organic debris from difficult-to-clean dialyzers before reprocessing. This process is known as precleaning. It is designed for peracetic acid-based renaclear disinfectant. It cleans dialyzers without removing header caps. It provides consistent water pressure and flow applied to the dialyzer membranes, reducing the risk of fiber & component damage.
