Wheel chair anti tipping device is one of the optional accesory available, which is used to prevent rearward instability when ascending a gradient. The anti-tipping device includes an extensible and retractable displacement mechanism including an actuating member manually accessible by a person seated on the seat for displacing a ground engagement member between a forwardly retracted inoperative position, in which the ground engagement member is retracted beneath the seat and a rearwardly extended operative or deployed position, in which the ground engagement member is extended rearwardly from the frame.

A Wheelchair Axle comprises of a coupling device which forms a continuous piece with and is collinear with the axle's axis, the end of the load bearing surface opposite the male member having two lock washer slots for wheel adjustability, the female member of the coupling device having a quick-release ring for ease of axle removal and threads in conjunction with a sleeve and nut which allow for adjustability of the axle against the structure of the wheelchair.

A Wheelchair Cover is a protective covering into which a wheelchair is easily introduced. The cover provides a complete enclosure into which a wheelchair can be easily rolled. The cover provides protection during the transportation of a wheelchair by motor vehicle or during storage of a wheelchair. The wheelchair cover includes a membrane namely first covering member and a second covering member. The first covering member has a back cover portion covering a back of a wheelchair and a second arm covering portions for covering a first and a second arm extending from back of wheelchair. The second covering member, removably attached to the first covering member has a seat covering portion for covering a seat of the wheelchair. The wheelchair cover further comprises a third covering member covering a cushion placed on the seat. A first and second side skirt extending from the first and second arm covering portions covers the first and second side of the wheelchair and a back skirt extending from said back covering portion for covering a wheelchair back side. A front skirt from second covering member covers a wheelchair front side.

The wheelchair foot rest comprises of a plate portion with a semi-cylindrical configuration journalling a tube in turn supported to the wheelchair such that the plate can swing from a horizontal position to a vertical position about the journalling axis. Axially slotted plastic friction sleeves surround the journalling tube in such a manner as to lock to the inner wall ends of the semi-cylindrical portion of the plate and frictionally engage the periphery of the journalling tube so that the plate is held in any set swung position.
