Profile: Creative Medical Designs, Inc. is involved in the production and distribution of four patented Rayhack® osteotomy systems. We also offer saws and saw blades for ulnar shortening, kienbock's radial shortening & radial malunion distraction osteotomy. Our standard ulnar shortening plate can be used in either the volar-ulnar, or ulnar subcutaneous positions. The upright ulnar saw guide permits the osteotomy to be performed from the volar-ulnar surface. The low profile saw guide sits up on the ulna, thereby eliminating the need for extensive periosteal stripping. The radial malunion distraction osteotomy system utilizes a multi-plane distractor which controls the distal fragment with the plate. A multi-angle drill guide facilitates correction of pronation or supination deformities, and the narrow plate width minimizes tendon and soft-tissue irritation.
