Medicated pads are known for placement over corns, calluses and warts, and which contain an ingredient, such as 40% salicylic acid by weight in a rubber based vehicle, for removing corns, calluses and warts. Specifically, with such pads, there is a relatively thick center cushion formed of ethylene foam or ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polyethylene or like material having a circular opening, and an elongated vinyl film secured to the upper surface of the center cushion section and extending outwardly from opposite sides thereof. An adhesive is applied to the lower surfaces of the entire thick center cushion section and the elongated portions of the vinyl film that extend outwardly from opposite sides of the thick center cushion section.

Cough Treatment Patch involves attaching the device to the interior of the oral cavity of a person in need of cough treatment and providing instructions to the person to stimulate the device as necessary, in particular when the person feels a need or an incipient need to cough. The contact lens case contains silver atoms that have been electrically charged (ions), shown in clinical trials to help reduce the possibility of outside contamination within the case by 40 percent. Lens cases are quite vulnerable to contamination. It's also important to clean, rinse and air-dry the contact lens case after each use. Some eye care professionals recommend using the multi-purpose lens care solution, not water, for this process. Because cases can become easily contaminated and serve as an environment for bacteria and other organisms, you should replace them at minimum intervals of every three months and preferably every month.

The CO 2 skin resurfacing laser system produces an intense beam of light of a specific, known wavelength. There are two types of lasers produce light that is well absorbed by the upper to middle layers of the skin, light produced from carbon dioxide gas (CO 2 ) and light produced from a crystal made of erbium, yttrium, aluminum, and garnet (Er:YAG). Combination lasers are also commercially available. Before the procedure begins, medication is often given to relax the patient and reduce pain. For small areas, local topical anesthetics are often used to numb the area to be treated. Alternatively, for large areas, nerve block-type anesthesia is used. During the procedure, the patient lies on his or her back on the surgical table, eyes covered to protect them from the laser light. Laser passes are performed over the area being treated, utilizing computer control of the laser for precise results. The laser skin resurfacing is used on the face, as elsewhere the healing process may be so slow as to result in scarring.
