Vibration microtomes is a microtome with vibrating blade for fixed and unfixed tissue in histology and neurology as well as for non-biological specimen in material science. It offers a setting range of blade amplitude between 0,1 and 1,2 mm and frequency between 30 and 100 Hz. Both parameters can be set independently from each other. It features logically arranged keys and 4-line LC-display to enable intuitive operation. The memory function enables rapid approach of the blade towards the first cut position.
