Profile: Theken Disc designs and produces technology medical device products, such as microelectronic artificial replacement spinal discs. It helps to restore the elastic load bearing characteristics of the natural disc, which is important for the proper redistribution of the motion segment loads among the facets, ligaments, muscles, remaining annulus & the artificial disc. Our first development project is the eDisc, which is a lumbar artificial replacement disc. We developed polymer formulated to withstand the motions and loads of the lumbar spine.
