A contrasting color is printed on the back of the Superfrost end so that the patient or specimen information etched through the painted end on the front is clearly visible. Superfrost plus and Colorfrost plus microscope slides hold tissue sections without the need for expensive coating steps in the laboratory. Our gold seal rite-on & ultrafrost slides are manufactured of high quality, colorless, corrosion resistant glass. Our superfrost plus gold slides are made by a glass adhesive technology which first attracts & then chemically bonds fresh for formalin fixed frozen tissue sections firmly to the surface of the slide. The slides securely attach frozen breast, brain, skin and other normally difficult to bond tissue sections to the slide.
