It uses proprietary ICG technology to noninvasively assess a patient's hemodynamics, data that typically has been unavailable in the physician's office, and available on a limited basis in the hospital only through a time-consuming, costly, and potentially dangerous invasive procedure called pulmonary artery catheterization (PAC), or the swan ganz catheter.
